Use Case

For a team member, that 4 PM Friday calendar reminder to "Send weekly update" kicks off a frantic 30-minute scramble to remember and document every task, discussion, and decision, inevitably forgetting key contributions.
Tanka's Weekly Recap feature is designed to eliminate this friction for everyone. It automatically scans your connected apps and generates a cohesive summary of your week. For the individual user, this means getting a clear, satisfying list of achievements without any effort. For the team member, the weekly report for their manager is already drafted and waiting for a quick review. Tanka turns a tedious manual task into an automated, insightful overview, boosting both personal productivity and team alignment.
How to Use
In your Tanka dashboard, go to the "Work" tab.
Select “Weekly Recap”.
Every week, Tanka's AI assistant will automatically help you generate the weekly recap.
If you are unhappy with the result, use “Modify” to edit your result.
If you want to create another one, click on "Generate New".
Download your weekly recap or share it with a single click.
Tips
For the most accurate and comprehensive recap, ensure all your primary work applications (e.g., Slack, Google Drive, Notion, Asana) are connected to Tanka.
Before sharing your recap with a manager, quickly review it and add a sentence or two about your priorities for the upcoming week. This shows proactivity and keeps everyone aligned.
