Generate Business Plan

Use Case

You’re a founder, ready to pitch your vision to investors, but the first step is daunting: writing the business plan. You open a new document, and the blank page stares back. You start trying to recall the brilliant market analysis your co-founder shared in a chat last month, the financial projections scattered across three different spreadsheets, and the key strategic decisions made during a brainstorming session that was never formally documented. The fear sets in that you’ll miss something critical, presenting a plan that doesn't capture the true depth of your company's potential.

Tanka’s Business Plan Generation feature solves this problem by acting as your team's collective memory. Instead of starting from scratch, our AI automatically pulls in all the crucial context founders might forget—such as company history, market insights, team details, and past decisions—from your connected chats, documents, and apps. It intelligently gathers and organizes everything discussed within your team, ensuring your business plan is comprehensive, well-structured, and truly reflects your vision without the manual work.

How to Use

  1. In your Tanka dashboard, go to the "Work" tab.

  2. Select “Business Plan” -> “Next” to generate your business plan.

  3. You can add "File", "Chat", or "Memos" as the sources of the generated business plan.

  4. If you are unhappy with the result, use “Modify” to edit your result.

  5. Download your new business plan or share it with a single click.

Tips

  • For the most robust and detailed business plan, connect Tanka to all relevant apps where your team communicates and stores documents, such as Slack, Gmail, and WhatsApp.

  • Use the "Modify" feature to tailor the tone and focus of your business plan for different audiences. You can create a version focused on financial projections for investors and another centered on operational strategy for your internal team.

  • If you have important strategy documents or memos, add them as a primary source to anchor the business plan around your core ideas.
